Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited (FGAIPL) has launched FIAT Avventura, the Contemporary Urban Vehicle (CUV) for the global market. The car was first showcased at Auto Expo 2014 where it received a nice response from the visitors. The Avventura will fall under compact size SUV and will compete with Renault Duster, Volkswagen Cross Polo, Toyota Etios Cross and Ford EcoSports. The vehicle designed with iconic Italian styling is packed with modern features.
FIAT Avventura is designed keeping Indian conditions and need in mind. The car will be produced at FIAT’s Ranjangaon plant in Pune and will be initially sold in India. Avventura is a milestone product for FIAT India as it is the first Contemporary Utility Vehicle conceptualized for India and completely manufactured in India.

Engine
Fiat Avventura has same powertrain we’ve seen in Punto Evo. The Petrol engine comes with 1.4-litre cylinder FIRE engine which produces maximum power of 90PS @ 6000 RPM and maximum torque of 115 Nm @ 4500 RPM.
The Diesel engine comes with 1.3-litre 4 cylinder Multijet motor with Variable Geometry Charger which produces maximum power of 93 PS @ 4000 RPM and maximum torque of 209 Nm @ 2000 RPM. Both engines mated with 5-speed manual transmission.
Fiat Avventura Petrol gives a mileage of 14.4 kmpl Diesel engine gives a mileage of 20.5 kmpl.
Exterior
Fiat Avventura has a very attractive exterior, the car sport Rear mounted spare wheel, 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, side body cladding for protection and roof rail to carry luggage.
Interior
The Fiat Avventura comes with 2-tone interior with 60:40 split seat which create more room for luggage. Another feature you’ll find is Rear AC vents, 12V power socket, Digital clock, odometer, trip meter, distance to empty indicator, instrument panel light regulation, programmable speed limit buzzer, real time mileage indicator, tachometer and Avg speed/duration/range.
Safety
In safety, Avventura has Automatic Door lock, Central Door Locking, Door open indicator, Fire Prevention System, Immobilizer with Rolling code and guiding lamp.
