Tata Motors has launched the new Tata Harrier EV in India. Tata is now slowly approaching every market with its EV offerings, and this time it has entered the SUV market.
The Tata Harrier EV comes with a dual motor setup, including a 158 PS front motor and a 238 PS rear motor. The car is available with 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs, which offer an estimated range of 480-505 km.
The Harrier EV supports fast charging, which can provide an additional range of 250 km in just 15 minutes of charging. The car is equipped with liquid-cooled technology to cool down the large battery pack.
The Harrier EV is an SUV and comes with the following features:
- Six terrain modes: Normal, Grass/Snow, Mud/Gravel, Sand, Rock Crawl, Custom.
- Boost Mode, Drift Mode, and Off-road Assist with cruise control (as low as 5 km/h).
- Transparent Mode for obstacle visibility beneath the vehicle.
