Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) officially launched the upgradable version of its popular Hatchback i10. The Hyundai Grand i10 will not going to replace existing i10 but it will place in the slot between i10 and i20.
The Grand i10 comes in both Petrol and Diesel engine options. The 1.2-litre Kappa 2 Dual VTVT petrol engine is the same as you find in i10 and i20. The diesel engine is the new 1.1-litre three cylinder U2 CRDi engine which delivers maximum power of 71 PS while petrol engine delivers maximum power of 85 PS. The both engine comes with 5-speed manual transmission and the petrol engine gets the optional 4-speed auto transmission.
Exterior:
Hyundai Grand i10 follow Hyundai latest design trend “Fluidic Design”. The slopping roofline along with integrated roof rails gives a sporty and aerodynamic feel. You’ll also notice new sharp headlamps, sleek wraparound tail lamps and 2 tone diamond cut alloy wheels.
Interior:
Hyundai added more space in the interior, the spacious cabin of Grand offers generous legroom, ample headroom and shoulder room along with large boot space. The 2-Tone Beige and black interior gives premium and luxury touch to the interiors of Grand. Hyundai offer Rear AC vents which ensures efficient cooling for back seat passengers.
The Grand i10 boast advance features like Smart key with push button start and stop for keyless entry/exist and ignition on/of, auto folding outside mirrors which automatically opens and folds when the car is unlocked and locked. There is a cooled glove box that keeps the beverages and food items cool and fresh.
Company added 2-DIN music system with 1 GB of internal memory, Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in connectivity. You can control the music from steering wheel, it has audio, Bluetooth and trip meter controls.
