Hero MotoCorp has launched the All new Hero Splendor iSmart 110 in India. The Splendor iSmart 110 is the first motorcycle to be developed completely in-house with Hero own technology. The Hero finally bid adieu to Honda technology. The Hero Splendor bike was first showcased at Auto Expo 2016.
Hero Splendor iSmart 110 is the built on completely new chassis and frame. The bike is powered by the new 110cc Torque on Demand engine, air-cooled single cylinder, 4-stroke engine which produces a maximum power of 9.4 PS @ 7500 RPM and maximum torque of 9 Nm @ 5500 RPM. The new engine produces enough firepower to take the bike from 0-60 kmph in 7.45 seconds only.
The bike rides on the new frame that offers stability, durability, and comfort even on rough terrains. The improved double cradle design of the bike allows improved chassis tyre suspension sync and better front-rear balance with no twitching.
Other features include new longer seats, Automatic Headlamp On and new speedometer with new Analog Digital design with service due indicator.
The Splendor iSmart 110 features new graphics, dual tone mirrors, fenders and cowl. On the back, the bike has new tail light and muffle with chrome tip.
