SKODA AUTO India launched the New Rapid in India at a price of 8.34 Lakh (Ex-showroom Maharashtra).
Engine
The New Skoda Rapid comes with two engine variants: a New 1.5L TDI diesel engine and the same old 1.6L MPI petrol engine.
Diesel Engine
The new Skoda Rapid Diesel comes with 1.5 litre TDI diesel engine produces maximum power of 110PS and maximum torque of 250Nm. The Engine comes with two transmission option: Manual and DSG Automatic Transmission.
The Diesel Engine produce mileage of 21.72 kmpl (DSG) & 21.13 kmpl (MT)
Petrol Engine
The new Skoda Rapid Petrol Engine comes with 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine which produces maximum power of 105PS and maximum torque of 153 Nm. The Petrol Engine also comes with two transmission option: Manual and DSG Automatic Transmission.
The Petrol Engine produce mileage of 15.41 kmpl (MT) & 14.84 kmpl (AT)
Exterior
The New Skoda Rapid features Signature Grille with chrome surround, angular lines on the bonnet, Quartz-cut Halogen Projector headlights with manual leveling function, chrome eye lash effect of the LED day running light, C-shaped smoked taillights and chrome finished door handles.
Interior
The car comes with Dual-tone Ebony-sand Interiors, featuring premium perforated leatherette seats, Chrome décor and new door armrests.
