Indian No 1 Car maker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, unveiled its India’s first Life Utility Vehicle – Ertiga in the Indian Market at a price of Rs. 5.89 Lakh for the base petrol variant. In MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) segment, the Maruti Ertiga will compete with Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova. Ertiga comes with both Petrol as well as Diesel engine, The petrol Engine is powered by all new powerful K-Series 1373cc VVT (K14B) engine while the diesel variant is powered by the highly acclaimed 1248cc DDiS VGT engine. The K14B1373 cc VVT Petrol Engine produce max power of 95 ps at 600 rpm and max torque of 130 nm at 4000 rpm. The petrol engine gives you mileage of 16.02 kmpl. The D13A 1248cc DDiS VGT Diesel Engine produce max power of 90 ps @4000 rpm and max torque of 200 nm at 1750 rpm. The Diesel Engine gives you mileage of 20.77 kmpl. Both engine use a 5-speed manual box.
The Ertiga is being offered in six variants – three with a petrol engine and three with a diesel and it’ll be available in seven colors: Serene Blue, Ecru Beige, Firebrick Red, Granite Grey, Dusky Brown, Superior White and Silky Silver.
