India Yamaha Motors launched the new entry level commuter bike Yamaha Saluto RX in India with 110cc Engine for Rs. 46,400 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
Yamaha Saluto RX is powered by newly developed air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 110cc, 2-valve single-cylinder engine which produces maximum power of 7.5 PS @ 7000 RPM and 8.5 Nm @ 4500 RPM. The Saluto RX is based on the Blue Core Engine Development Concept which has more compact combustion chamber than previous 110 cc bikes. The new technology will increase combustion efficiency, cooling efficiency and reduce power loss.
The engine, frame, and wheels have comprehensive weight-reducing designs that contribute to the model’s overall fuel efficiency.
Yamaha Saluto RX gives mileage of 82 kmpl.
