Royal Enfield finally launched the Continental GT in India for the price of ₹ 2.05 Lakhs On-road price in Delhi. The bike will be manufactured in Oragadam plant near Chennai.
Royal Enfield Continental GT has a 535 cc Single Cylinder, 4 stroke Air Cooled engine which produces Maximum Power of 29.1 bhp @ 5100 RPM and maximum Torque of 44 NM @ 4000 RPM. The bike uses 5 Speed constant Mesh gearbox with Keihin Electronic Fuel Injection. With this engine bike can achieve a top speed of 150 kmph.
The standard model of Continental GT has only single flat seat while a pillion seat can be opted for an option. The fuel tank of the bike is 13.5 liters.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT tubular steel chassis designed by Harrison a British company and the weight of the bike is 184 kgs. The Continental GT is available in two color options – red and yellow.
