Ford India has launched the new Sports Edition of it’s popular Figo and Aspire. Ford Figo is the hatchback car and Aspire is the compact sedan. Both of these cars is very popular ford cars among in Indian market apart from EcoSports.
Exterior
Both Figo & Aspire 2017 gets a newly tuned suspension, bigger & wider 15-inch alloy wheels. A rear spoiler has been added in Figo to improve its aerodynamics.
Ford Figo Sports Edition gets all-new honeycomb grille, dual-tone exterior with black painted roof, black alloys and sport outside rear view mirrors.
The Aspire Sports Edition also gets a new grille with smart black painted bars.
Under the hood, there is no change in the powertrain. Both the car comes with 1.2l TiVCT Petrol engine which gives a maximum power of 88PS and 1.5L TDCi diesel engine which gives max power of100 PS. The engines are mated with 5-speed manual transmission.
Petrol Engine gives mileage of 18.12 kmpl and diesel engine gives 24.29 kmpl.
Interior
The Ford Figo & Aspire Sports Edition features all-black interiors from door handles to centre console. The colors & materials are selected by the designers to give a premium feel.
The Ford Figo Sports Edition seats have impressive red stitching while Aspire Sports Edition’s cabin will feature sophisticated fog grey stitching. The steering is leather wrapped and uses contrasting colored seams.
New Navigations System
The Sports Edition come with MyFord Dock which allows customer to mount and charge mobile phones. The mobile phone can be integrated into car entertainment system.
