Bajaj Auto getting tough competition in Sports Motorcycle market but the company is still maintaining its lead. To further strengthen its spot, Bajaj Auto announced the launch of a new brand for premium sports bike – the Dominar.
Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by 373cc triple spark four valves DTS-i engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling which produces maximum power of 35PS and maximum torque of 35Nm. The 373cc DTS-i engine is mated with 6-speed transmission and slipper clutch. The engine power will sprint the bike from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.23 seconds. The advanced liquid cooling system ensures smooth engine performance even on long rides. For comfort, the bike comes with 43mm telescopic front fork with unique dual spring mono suspension.
The twin channel ABS empowered 320mm front disc and 230mm rear disc inspire confidence and complete control. To get the ABS, you’ve to spend more money as this is not a standard feature.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 features full LED mosaic head lamps with balanced white light and vertical AHO (Automatic Headlights On).
The Reverse LCD split speedometer divide the console into two parts: Primary & Secondary tor reduce any clutter while riding.
Price & Availability
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is available in two variant: ABS & Disc brake version. And it’s available in 3 colors: Blue, Plum & White. The Dominar 400 shall initially be sold to customers at 80 showrooms across 22 towns in the country. Test ride and display bikes would be available at these showrooms starting tomorrow. And delivery will commence in January 2017.
