Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd (TKM) launched the new Land Cruiser Prado in India at a price of ₹ 84,87,000 (Ex-showroom New Delhi). The redesigned Prado inherited best of the Land Cruiser DNA, they revamped exterior, interior and four-wheel drive improvement.
In Exterior, you’ll find a new Design front grille, Bumper, Fog lamps, Headlamps, Rear combination Lamp, new Design of Rear License Plate garnish, LED headlamps and DRLs (Daytime Running Lamps).
The interior enhancements of the new Prado include:
- Crawl Control: Driver no longer need to use the accelerator and brake operations when driving over jagged off-road terrain or on slippery surfaced. The driver can fully concentrate on steering.
- Multi-Terrain select: A system that allows you to choose between various road condition modes such as Rock, Rock and Dirt, Mogul, Loose Rock and Mud & Sand.
- Multi-Terrain Monitor: Used in conjunction with Multi-Terrain system to provide a clear view of the surroundings.
- New Display Audio with 7-inch screen with touchscreen, 6CD, AM/FM, 9 Speakers, USB, aux-in
- Second row seat heater
- Tire pressure monitoring system
The new Toyota Prado is available in five colors: White, Sliver, Grey, Blue and Black. The Black color comes with two interior colors Flaxen and Black which provides an option of a combination of dark exteriors and lighter interiors or vice versa.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has 3.0L Diesel common rail type fuel injection engine with intercooled turbocharger which delivers maximum output of 173 PS at 2400 RPM and maximum torque of 510 NM at 1600-2800 RPM. The 2982 cc engine is coupled with 5-speed Automatic Transmission with a full time 4×4 drive.
