Fiat India has launched the Fiat Abarth Punto along with Avventura Powered by Abarth. The Abarth Punto is specially for those who love performance, no other brand will give that much power in the hatchback segment. The car is manufactured in India and some cars are already sent to the dealers for the delivery.
Engine
Fiat Abarth Punto is powered by 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbocharged T-Jet engine which produced maximum power of 145 HP @ 5500 RPM and maximum torque of 212 Nm @ 2000-4000 RPM. The engine is mated with 5-speed manual transmission.
Top speed of Fiat Abarth Punto is 190 kmph and it will take the car from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.8 sec.
The Abarth Punto has also been provided with, disc brakes on all wheels, ABS and EBD which ensures stability at high speeds.
The Abarth Punto gives Fuel Economy of 16.6 kmpl.
Design
The Abarth Punto carries the same dynamics and flair of the legendary Italian Abarth. The Abarth Punto has been lowered and the ground clearance has been kept at 155 mm. Abarth logos are strikingly visible at the front and rear of the car. This hot hatch will be available in two vibrant colours which are Hip-hop Black and Pearl White with sporty red highlights and racing embellishments.
The Abarth Punto exterior features Reindeer Headlamps, dark Abarth style body color, Light guide in tail lamps, a sporty rear spoiler, Red colored ORVMs, Chrome plated door handles, Front & Rear fog lamps and 16” Scorpion Alloy wheels.
Interior of the Abarth Punto is dark black with red and yellow stitching with Abarth logo & colors. Interior host features like soft touch front panel, ambient lighting on the Dashboard, Fabric Insert on Door Trip & Door Arm-Rest, Boot lamp, automatic air-conditioning and an infotainment system.
