The Hinduja Group flagship, Ashok Leyland launched the STILE, a stylish Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV). The Stile was developed by the Ashok Leyland and Nissan Motor Company Join Venture. The Ashok Leyland STILE will roll out from Nissan’s manufacturing plant at Chennai.
The STILE loaded with 1461cc Turbo-intercooled, Common Rail Diesel Engine which produces Maximum Power of 75 hp and Maximum Torque of 185 Nm @ 1750-2750 rpm. The engine is coupled with 5 Speed Manual Transmission. The STILE MPV offer fuel efficiency of 19.5 kmpl.
The STILE will target different sector like 7-8 seater people transport, hotel shuttles, taxi services, ambulances, panel vans, courier services, inter-city and intra-city travel.
The monocoque body construction makes the MPV lower in weight while for passengers it translates into car-like comfort, excellent ride quality and greater safety.
The MPV has lower floor feature for easy entry and exit for old people, while sliding doors on both sides allow easy access in tight parking.
The Ashok Leyland STILE will be available in Diesel engine and comes with seating options of 2 and 3 rows (7 and 8 seats) with max interior space. STILE also features dual rear AC vents.
