Maruti Suzuki launched the common people car ‘2012 Maruti Alto 800’ in India for Rs. 2.44 Lakh for Base Petrol model and Rs. 2.99 Lakh for Top Petrol Model. Maruti Alto 800 also available in CNG and it’ll cost you Rs. 3.19 Lakh for base model and Rs. 3.56 Lakh for High end model. Maruti Alto 800 will replace the Maruti Alto and Maruti 800. Maruti Alto 800 comes with 796 cc Petrol Engine which produces peak power of 48 BHP at 6000 RPM and Peak torque of 69 Nm at 3500 RPM. The engine is equipped with 5-Speed Manual Gearbox and it gives the mileage of 22.70 kmpl.
Maruti Alto 800 already getting good response from the market and already had over 10,000 bookings. It’s interesting to see how it’ll replace the most seller cars Maruti 800.
Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 comes with new Wavefront design. The smooth long curves, the prominent wheel arch and wider lip add to the side stance. It also has Jewel-finish rear combination lamps, pleasant design on the back door, Petal shaped headlamps along with stylish grille and bumper.
They also redesigned the Interiors. The Interiors come in Brown and Grey and has more space and a comfortable environment. They added more comfort with extra head and shoulder room in front along with extra legroom at the back. The new slim doors will maximize interior passenger space. The centre console has space for a can, coins and a 1-litre bottle. The power window has been relocated on the floor console for easy accessibility.
